The work

Three ways to run a dog

Agility is the backbone. Fast CAT is a straight 100-yard dash. League is the long season between the big weekends.

Agility

A numbered course of jumps, tunnels, weaves, and contacts. You and your dog read it together, against the clock.

  • AKC all-breed trials, all levels, regular and preferred
  • Standard, Jumpers With Weaves, FAST, Premier, and Time 2 Beat — see each premium for the exact mix
  • Home show site is Garrison Arena in Pendleton, SC: indoors, packed dirt, two rings

Fast CAT

Coursing Ability Test. One dog at a time runs 100 yards after a lure. The time becomes a speed score — miles per hour — and titles stack from there.

  • Any dog that can run a straight line can have a great day
  • Next tests: February 19–21, 2027 at the Union County Fairgrounds in Union, SC.
  • Handicap is by size, so a small dog is not racing a sighthound on the same math
  • The club shares photos and stories from each test

AKC Agility League

AKC Agility League is a season of team runs, not one weekend. PACU hosts it for club members. The fall season is ongoing.

  • Fall season is ongoing
  • For club members
  • Freshman and senior regulation teams
  • Practices on a grass field in Williamston, traditionally Monday nights
  • 2026 Agility League Championships are in Raleigh in November
